MSC Cruises Reservations Phone Number

If you prefer booking by phone, you can complete MSC Cruises reservations by speaking to a cruise representative who will help you find available cabins, ongoing discounts, and the best sail dates. Calling MSC support or your travel agent makes it easier to make changes, check price-match options, upgrade cabins, add excursions, or request onboard perks. Manage MSC Cruises Booking / Modify Reservation

After your reservation is confirmed, you can log in to the “Manage Booking” section to modify details. You can upgrade your cabin (if inventory is available), add shore excursions, purchase drink packages, make specialty dining reservations, or book entertainment experiences. Managing your booking online is useful because you can spread out costs by adding extras later instead of paying everything up front.

MSC Cruise Cancellation & Change Policy

MSC offers flexible booking options depending on fare type. Cancellation fees may apply based on how close you are to the departure date. Many travelers choose to purchase travel insurance so they are protected against last-minute medical emergencies, flight delays, or unexpected trip cancellations. Change fees may also apply unless your fare specifically includes free changes.

                MSC Cruise Payment Policies

MSC generally requires a deposit to secure your reservation. Final payment deadlines vary depending on sailing date and cabin category — usually a few months before sailing. Credit cards are the most commonly accepted payment method, and in some regions, digital wallet options may also be available. The deposit becomes non-refundable after the final payment period begins, depending on the fare rules.

What does “MSC” in MSC Cruises stand for?

MSC stands for Mediterranean Shipping Company

MSC Cruises is a very international cruise line. English is widely used onboard, but due to its European (especially Italian/Swiss) heritage, many staff also speak Italian, French, German, and other languages depending on the itinerary.

MSC Cruises is owned by the Aponte family. It is part of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) group, founded by Gianluigi Aponte.

                • Your ticket will show a check-in / boarding slot.

                • Web-check-in is available 30 days to 24 hours before departure.

                • Boarding closes 2 hours before the ship’s scheduled departure.

                • In practice, many guests say they board earlier than their assigned time without issue. > “Early or late, as long as the cutoff … they don’t care.”

                Recent and upcoming ships include:

                • MSC Euribia

                • MSC World Europa

                • MSC World America

                • Additional future World-Class ships already ordered

MSC offers group booking options with:

                • Special group pricing

                • Low deposits

                • Custom arrangements (cabins close together, event spaces, meetings, etc.)
Exact benefits depend on group size and travel agent arrangements.

                • Strong Mediterranean/European influence

                • Rapid fleet expansion with advanced, eco-friendly ships

                • Very family-friendly atmosphere

                • Focus on sustainability

                • Varied entertainment and late dining typical of European culture

                • Cabin accommodation

                • Breakfast, lunch, dinner

                • Onboard entertainment & shows

                • Access to pools, gym, and public spaces

                • Port taxes and onboard security services

Overall, MSC offers great value, modern ships, and family-friendly cruising.
Guests love the style and pricing, but reviews note:

                • Service may feel more European than American

                • App and website can be confusing

                • Food quality varies by ship

MSC does not have universal parking. Parking depends on the specific cruise port you depart from, such as Miami, Port Canaveral, or Barcelona. Each port has its own parking arrangements.

Yes. MSC owns Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas.

MSC generally does not allow outside alcohol.
Policies vary by port, but usually only small amounts of sealed, non-alcoholic beverages are allowed.

                MSC typically offers:

                • Early seating

                • Late seating

                • Flexible dining depending on your package
Dinner times on MSC are often later than American cruise lines because of the European influence.

                Entertainment commonly includes:

                • Big nightly theater shows

                • Live music and performances

                • Water parks and pools

                • Kids and teen clubs

                • Sports areas and fitness classes

                • High-tech attractions on newer ships (VR, simulators, etc.)

                MSC offers:

                • Main dining rooms (included)

                • Large buffets (included)

                • Specialty restaurants (extra charge)

                • Experience-based dining (Bella, Fantastica, Aurea, Yacht Club)

Yes. MSC has kids’ clubs for multiple age groups with supervised activities, games, and adventure programs.

Yes. Most MSC ships have a full casino with slot machines, tables, and tournaments.

Yes — MSC is considered a good value-for-money cruise line.
                Best suited for:

                • Families

                • Couples

                • Multicultural travelers

                • People who enjoy European-style service and food
Not ideal for travelers wanting American-style cruising with very personalized service.

It depends a lot on the ship, route, length of cruise, and type of cabin. As a rough guide, interior rooms might start around US$59–$70 per night, while balconies can be around US$139 or more per night.

Apart from the base fare for the cabin, you need to factor in extras: gratuities, port taxes, possible flights, insurance, and optional packages like drinks or shore excursions.

For example, many people pay a few hundred dollars more on top of the cruise fare for such add-ons.

Yes — MSC often runs promotions, seasonal discounts, or bundle offers. The fare can be adjusted before a certain date, depending on port fees, fuel costs, or exchange rates.

Yes. Cabin prices vary significantly depending on whether it’s an interior room, ocean view, balcony, or suite. Higher decks or more premium cabins (with better views or more space) cost more.

Yes, there are some additional costs to watch out for:

                • Mandatory service charges / gratuities.

                • Optional drink packages or specialty dining.

                • Shore excursions, Wi-Fi, spa, etc.

                • Possible port taxes or “holiday package” add-ons depending on booking.

The cost varies based on the package:

                • Easy Package: ~ €32 / US$38 per person per day.

                • Premium Extra Package: ~ €62 / US$69 per person per day.

                • Alcohol-Free Package: ~ €23 / US$25 per person per day.

                • There is also a Minors Package for children.

If you cancel, MSC applies a sliding scale of cancellation fees depending on how close you are to your sailing date. For example (for non–world cruise bookings):

                • For cruises shorter than 15 nights:

                  • ≥ 63 days before departure → you lose only the deposit

                  • 62-42 days before → ~ 25% penalty

                  • 41-29 days before → ~ 40% penalty

                  • 28-15 days before → ~ 60% penalty

                  • 14–6 days → ~ 80%, and 5 days or less → 100% (full fare)

                • For cruises 15 nights or more, the timelines and percentages change.
Also, if you don’t show up (“no show”) or leave the cruise early, it’s treated as a cancellation with no refund.

                Yes, but:

                • There is an administration fee (e.g., £ 25) for amendments.

                • Any extra costs resulting from the change (like fare differences) are borne by the passenger.

                • If you make changes very close to departure (beyond certain time limits), MSC may treat it as a cancellation and apply the cancellation fee.
